Who may use LittleTalk
You must be an adult who can agree to these terms. LittleTalk is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to use on their own. If you use LittleTalk for a family, you confirm that you have permission to provide the limited family information you enter.
Back to topWhat LittleTalk provides
LittleTalk provides an original parenting learning library, practice, recall, saved phrases, and context-aware coaching for ordinary family moments. Learning progress belongs to the caregiver account. Child context helps tailor examples; it is not a score, diagnosis, or record of a child’s worth.
Some features need an account, network connection, supported device, active membership, configured provider, or current app version. Early access may change as LittleTalk learns what is reliable and useful.
Back to topEducation, not professional care
LittleTalk offers general parenting education. It is not medical, mental-health, developmental, diagnostic, legal, or emergency advice. It cannot examine your child, know every fact, or guarantee an outcome.
AI and automated suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Use your judgment, consider your child and culture, and stop using a suggestion that feels unsafe, makes things worse, or conflicts with advice from a qualified professional.
Back to topEmergencies and safety
LittleTalk may limit or redirect a request when ordinary coaching is not appropriate. Essential safety information is not conditioned on a paid membership.
Back to topAccounts and security
Provide accurate account information and keep your email, Apple ID, device, and session access secure. Tell LittleTalk promptly if you believe someone used your account without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.
One person must not use another person’s account or try to access another family’s information. Sign in with Apple and email sign-in are also subject to the provider’s terms.
Back to topCurriculum and family data
Your path, lesson progress, history, bookmarks, quiz and recall responses, and saved phrases are parent-owned learning information. You may choose a child or family context for examples and Coach. Caregiver sharing is limited by the permissions shown in the app: shared child profiles and progress may be visible, but another caregiver does not receive your private Coach text, transcripts, feedback, or reflections.
You are responsible for entering only information you have a right to use and only the minimum child information needed. The Privacy Policy explains retention, export, and deletion choices.
Back to topMemberships and App Store purchases
LittleTalk may offer free and paid features. A paid membership is available only when the iPhone app displays a real App Store product and localized price. LittleTalk does not offer a web or Stripe checkout.
When offered, Apple processes the purchase and payment details. RevenueCat helps LittleTalk read the App Store product and membership entitlement. LittleTalk does not receive your full payment-card number.
- The price, billing period, trial if any, and included features are shown before you confirm with Apple.
- A subscription renews automatically under the App Store terms unless you cancel through your Apple account before renewal.
- Use Apple subscription settings to manage or cancel. Use Restore Purchases in LittleTalk to ask Apple and RevenueCat to check an existing entitlement.
- Apple controls billing, renewal, grace periods, cancellation, and refund decisions. Request a refund through Apple.
- If products or providers are unavailable, LittleTalk must not claim that a purchase succeeded or charge you outside Apple.
LittleTalk content and license
LittleTalk lessons, writing, design, artwork, software, and organization are owned by or licensed to the LittleTalk operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Public lessons use original LittleTalk wording; access does not transfer ownership.
LittleTalk gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your household’s lawful personal learning. You may save and adapt suggested phrases for your family. You may not copy, sell, publish, scrape, train another product on, or redistribute substantial LittleTalk content or software unless law allows it or you have written permission.
Back to topText you provide
You keep ownership of text you type or speak into LittleTalk. You give LittleTalk a limited license to host, process, transmit, and format that text only to deliver the features you request, apply your settings, secure or troubleshoot the service, respond to support you ask for, and comply with law. This clause does not give LittleTalk a separate right to train a general-purpose model or conduct unrelated human review. Service-provider processing is described in the Privacy Policy and depends on provider terms and configuration. The license ends when the information is deleted, except for limited backup, security, or legal retention.
Do not submit content you do not have permission to use, unnecessary identifying information, or content that violates another person’s rights.
Back to topAcceptable use
Do not:
- Use LittleTalk to harm, threaten, harass, exploit, deceive, or endanger a person.
- Seek instructions for abuse, unlawful surveillance, punishment, or evading safety protections.
- Access another account or family, probe security without permission, bypass limits, or interfere with the service.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, automate against, resell, or copy the service except where law expressly allows it.
- Misrepresent AI output as a professional diagnosis or guaranteed fact about a child.
Third-party services
LittleTalk depends on services such as Apple, RevenueCat, email delivery, hosting, and an AI provider when connected coaching is enabled. Their services and terms may affect availability. LittleTalk is not responsible for a third party’s independent service, but remains responsible for its own promises where law requires.
Back to topAvailability and changes
LittleTalk may add, remove, pause, or change features, content, limits, and membership offerings. It may correct or roll back content for quality or safety. LittleTalk does not promise uninterrupted or error-free access and may use maintenance windows, rate limits, or fail-closed unavailable states.
When a change materially reduces a paid feature during an active billing period, any remedy depends on applicable law and the App Store terms.
Back to topSuspension, ending use, and deletion
You may stop using LittleTalk, sign out, cancel an App Store subscription, delete learning data, or delete the account. Canceling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions.
LittleTalk may suspend or end access when reasonably needed for security, unlawful use, serious rule violations, provider shutdown, or service closure. When practical, LittleTalk will give notice and a chance to export data unless safety, law, or security prevents it.
Back to topService limitations
To the fullest extent applicable law allows, LittleTalk is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that every suggestion, feature, provider, or result will meet your needs. LittleTalk does not disclaim rights or warranties that consumer law does not allow it to disclaim.
To the fullest extent applicable law allows, the LittleTalk operator is not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, or consequential loss caused by use or inability to use the service. This does not limit liability that law does not allow to be limited, including liability for intentional wrongdoing or personal injury where a limit is prohibited.
Back to topConsumer rights
These terms do not remove mandatory rights you have under the law where you live. If a part of these terms conflicts with a right that cannot legally be waived, that required right controls.
Back to topChanges and contact
LittleTalk may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, explained in the app or by email. Continued use after the stated effective date means the new terms apply to later use, where law allows.
